I went on a long run Saturday morning and although I'm out of shape, it felt great. It reminded me why I need that time to unwind and clear my head. I've been so busy with life and work lately that I haven't made time for myself, including exercise, but oh how I need it! Both physically and mentally!
As I was running through beautiful Spring Hill college I started thinking about my life and how I can get so busy and consumed in my own stuff, that I lose track of the things that really matter. I had so many thoughts running my head...so many "ah ha" moments...so when I got home I designed this print.
Of course, the graphic designer in me couldn't just make a simple list. It had to be pretty on my new desk, But, I NEED THESE REMINDERS! I have it pinned behind my computer where I see it all of the time!
Oh, and on other change I'm making...15 minutes of facebook each day.. MAX. This one is gonna be hard for me because this is a large part of what I do for work. So, these 15 minutes include anything other than updating business pages...I can get so distracted when I login and see pics or wish someone happy birthday (which is good thing!) but then of course, I get distracted again....and there goes another 5 minutes. But, those 5 or 10 minutes here or there throughout the day add up, and with a TO-DO list longer than I can actually DO, there is no time for this! :)
