For as long as I can remember,
Oprah has been a part of my life. In elementary school, I remember curling up on the couch after a long day and watching
Oprah. Back then, 4 pm was Oprah time. Of course, as I've gotten older, the "workin' world" takes over and 4 pm is crunch time — not Oprah time. However, I did tune-in to her final show yesterday and it made me sad. There's something about her voice (as weird as it may sound) that is so comforting and takes me back to the good ole days.
If you missed it,
you must watch this short clip from her final show. What a powerful message for us all:
"What I know for sure — we all are called and everybody has a calling. And our main job in life is to figure out what that calling is, and get about the business of doing it."
Farewell, Oprah. Thanks for ALL you have taught us. Weekdays at 4 pm will never be the same without you.
Love this,Hads.I didn't watch yesterday cause I knew it would make me sad !
