To My Mother....

Happy Mother's Day to the most AMAZING mom and grandmother in the world!!!

Obviously this year Mother's Day has a whole new meaning. I am forever grateful to my mother for ALL she does...
Mom, you are the most loving, selfless, Godly woman I know, and Calder and I are BEYOND blessed to have you in our lives.

Motherhood is definitely the hardest, most tiring job in the world...

and by far the most REWARDING, most important job in the world!

Her children rise up and call her blessed...

Proverbs 31:28
There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.

A mother's love is forever strong,

never changing for all time...
and when her children need her most,
a mother's love will shine.

God bless these special mothers,

God bless them every one...
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.

When her days on earth are over,

a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,

for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above.

- Jill Lemming

I love you mama!!

Loft Life Press

The moment I discovered Loft Life Press on Etsy I fell in love. I saw this beautiful hand painted print and just had to find out who designed this. Isn't there work just amazing?

For those of you who don't know, I haven't been taking stationery and invitation orders since I had Calder. Something just had to give, and I am too busy with larger branding and website projects to spend time on custom stationery right now. I just can't do it all and my workload is overflowing as it is (which is a huge blessing!)... but I'm learning how to say no (which was foreign word to me before becoming a mom.) BUT don't get me wrong, I still LOVE all things paper, especially when they're hand-drawn and custom designed like these jewels...

Hopefully some day when things calm down, I'll dive back into it, but for now I'll just sit back and drool...

Dreamy, romantic, and adoring of tiny details...did I mention that I fell in love??

My (updated) Daily Reminders

print design by hadley binion designs

Ok, so I updated my daily reminder list again. See here and here for previous "daily reminder" posts. (Of course, dancing with my daughter in the kitchen is still on my personal to-do list :) BUT I wanted to create a list that anyone could print.)

Believe me, I NEED THESE REMINDERS! I have it pinned behind my computer where I see it all of the time.

The 10 minutes a day on facebook is hard for me because this is a large part of what I do for work. So, these 10 minutes include anything other than updating business pages. But, like I've said before, it's easy to get distracted when I login and see pics or wish someone happy birthday (which is good thing!) but then of course, I get distracted again....and there goes another 5 minutes. But, those 5 or 10 minutes here and there add up, and with a TO-DO list longer than I can actually DO, there is no time for this!

It's worth a try at least... I need all the help I can get!

Wednesday Words of Wisdom

Very few quotes are truer than this one. Lord, help me treat those who can give nothing in return better than those who can.

Sunday on the Wharf

We had such a fun Sunday at the Taul's wharf on Dog River. The weather was perfect — not a cloud in the sky and a cool, breezy day (80 degrees or so, which is cold in Mobile). NOTHING beats a beautiful Sunday afternoon, yummy crawfish, cold beer, sweet babies and good, good friends.

We finally got to sport our cute lilly dress (courtesy of her Aunt Anna).
We love Aunt Ashley!

Nonie's daughter, Lillibet, is 6 weeks younger than Calder. They are gonna be the best of friends (whether they want to or not!:)
They were playing footsie. SO cute!
The beautiful Taul girls
Love my sweet friends...

Thanks Nonie and Ben for always planning fun get-togethers and parties! Without your invite, I would have been running errands and cleaning the house yesterday, and Bruner would have worked in the yard...which is NOT as fun!!

Roberts Brothers

Here's a sneak peek of what I've been working on lately...

My biggest marketing client is Roberts Brothers, Inc, which is the largest Real Estate company in South Alabama. With 250 agents, they keep me very busy to say the least! I've been working on a new marketing piece for the company, and we're in the process of finishing up the last few details. I can't wait to show you the finished product — we're going to have a print and digital version so stay tuned.

Here's a picture from our photo shoot last week. Didn't it turn out great? Love the Mobile city skyline in the background — and you can't find a better group of agents!

And I'll end with this video Google produced for us last year to advertise our Mobile site. Google chose Roberts Brothers as one of the three examples for their "Go Mo - Mobilizing Mobile" Campaign. It was a huge campaign and although Mobile was chosen because of the play on words (Mobilizing Mobile, get it?), they came down from Boston to shoot this and I think they really fell in love with our town. Check out the fabulous video they shot...

We were honored to be a part of this! More to come soon...
