We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton and it was quite lovely (insert snobby British accent) :). It was my first time to stay there and it lived up to all my expectations.
We loved strolling down the streets of New Orleans. This violinist (sporting rollerblades below) was ah-mazing and she drew quite a crowd. I think we stood there for 10+ minutes and listened to her in awe...
It was fun walking through the small antique shops and old book shops. We fell in love with this old Mobile Bay map...
Bruner loved some of the historic shops...
Wow. We are dorks. We even bought some homemade teas from this small tea shop.
Gotta love NOLA—but we were so ready to come home and kiss Calder-bear's cheeks!! My in-laws loved spending time with her and I think she had a big time too.
Off to Chattanooga tomorrow to see my parents for the weekend and put some more miles on the road. Hope everyone had a great 4th!
NOLA vs. 'NOOGA. Apples and oranges! No matter, just HURRY UP!!
